Following the recent completion of Emory Healthcare’s new $130 million, 180,000-square-foot Musculoskeletal Institute in Brookhaven, Georgia, Lincoln Property Company Southeast (Lincoln) has been selected to handle the property management and engineering services of the facility. Lincoln’s Senior Portfolio Manager - Office Lead, Stacy Abbate and Senior Property Manager Amanda McCallum, will manage the facility. “Continuing our relationship with Emory and bringing the talents and expertise from Lincoln together to operate this cutting-edge facility, which includes some of the latest technology available in our industry, is not only a win for Lincoln and Emory, but also for the patients Emory serves,” said Lincoln’s Froman.
The facility provides orthopedic and spine care, physical therapy, imaging, ambulatory surgery and a discovery research support space. The building also utilizes state-of-the-art technology including monitors to track carbon dioxide levels, 5G service in training labs through a partnership with Verizon, temperature and lighting controlled through an app staff can access, touchless control of security keypads and more. The facility is part of a larger plan from Emory to develop a $1 billion health innovation district in partnership with the Atlanta Hawks.
