Stratix Corporation Helping Ensure Students Have the Digital Learning Tools They Need at Gwinnett County Public Schools

Stratix Corporation, a leader in mobile technology services, announced today it's contracted with Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) to ensure that all of its enrolled 180,000 students—who have a need—will have access to digital learning via Chromebooks wherever they are. The company, which manages over three million mobile devices on behalf of enterprise, education, and healthcare organizations, will resolve all device maintenance issues and access throughout the school year so that students can focus on digital learning and not tech problems.

Stratix is passionate about digital learning and committed to supporting students, educators, and administration professionals," said Louis Alterman, CEO, and president of Stratix. "Our services help ensure there's a working mobile device in the hands of every student that needs one, providing continuity of learning, leveling the digital divide, empowering families, and lifting communities."

The five-year contract with Stratix to support the GCPS Chromebooks alleviates the burden on the IT teams—allowing them to focus on in-school technology, networks, and infrastructure—while providing a faster turnaround time, integrated ticketing, and help desk support for the student-issued devices.

"As a parent with children in Gwinnett County schools, I see firsthand how valuable the Chromebook program is for creating an environment where all have equal access to digital learning wherever they are," said Sonia Bercian, parent and Stratix employee. "I'm proud we're stepping up to keep those devices running and provide help desk support."

Stratix SmartMobile Education program enables students in need of digital tools at home and in the classroom with better, more consistent access to technology at a time when recent and COVID Delta variant surges continue to raise uncertainty as to the potential for in-classroom learning disruptions extending into another school year.

Stratix partners with school districts of all sizes and brings a fresh approach to delivering all-in support programs that provide devices, "white-glove" readiness, and ongoing device protection programs, repair, and tech support to ensure educators and IT resources can support digital learning initiatives.

Stratix continues its focus on developing customized mobile management service solutions to support learning technology for schools with growing student populations who are in need, including those who have demonstrated difficulty accessing technology tools.
