Announcing the 30th Edition of the Book Festival of the MJCCA

Wednesday, November 17th, 2021

Calling all bibliophiles and pop culture enthusiasts, the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) is announcing the 30th year of the beloved and renowned Book Festival of the MJCCA.

The Festival, sponsored by Greenberg Traurig, kicks off on November 6 with Matthew McConaughey, Academy Award-winning actor and New York Times bestselling author. This exciting festival continues throughout the month with a variety of nationally acclaimed authors in the fiction, comedy, biography, and cookbook genres. The Book Festival of the MJCCA concludes on November 29 with Jodi Picoult, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of 27 novels.

The Festival continues its tradition of bringing bestselling authors to the Atlanta community—and nationwide.

“If there is any positive takeaway from the pandemic, it’s that ‘access’ has taken on a new meaning,” says Deena Profis, 2021 Festival Co-Chair. “People can ‘Zoom in’ to experience and interact with their favorite authors from anywhere around the world.”

“Throughout the pandemic, we have hosted more than 85 authors virtually, and we are excited to welcome another stellar group of this year’s best and brightest for the 30th Edition of the Book Festival of the MJCCA,” says Artie Gumer, 2021 Festival Co-Chair.

Individual tickets and Season Passes are available. For the complete lineup and tickets, call 678.812.4005 or visit atlantajcc.org/bookfestival.
