Spruill Arts Announces 2021 Holiday Artists Market

Spruill Center for the Arts and Spruill Gallery announce the 2021 Holiday Artists Market to be held at the Spruill Gallery at 4681 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30338.  The market runs from November 17 through December 23.

Since 1993, the Holiday Artists Market has showcased high-quality art and crafts from Georgia artists, beautifully displayed in the historic Victorian Spruill Gallery homeplace. This five-week market is a much-anticipated holiday tradition and a destination for Atlanta’s savvy gift buyers who seek one-of-a-kind, well-crafted art from local sources.  This year more than 90 artists are represented in the Market.

“People love coming to our market because it’s such a cozy home-for-the-holidays mood we set in this little farmhouse,” said Jen Price, Gallery Director.  “We’ve got great work from new artists and a lot of favorites returning. And you can buy local instead of dealing with supply chain issues.”

This year’s highlights include:

Opening Night:  Wednesday, November 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Spruill Gallery opens its doors to an exclusive shopping experiences taking place within the five-week
Holiday Artists Market. This preview event is a first look at some of the best holiday gift shopping that metro Atlanta has to offer.  Shoppers will not only get a jump on their gift buying but can enjoy wine and light bites while they shop.

Holiday Tasting & Late-Night Shopping:  Wednesday, December 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This debut event features hand-picked wine and cheese pairings and a unique opportunity for shoppers, such as young working professionals in the area, to buy one-of-a-kind gifts while supporting the Atlanta artist community.
 
Handmade Gift Bazaar:  Saturday, December 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This traditional favorite is a chance to meet some of the Market’s featured artists and to buy new gift items that have not previously been available.

The Spruill Gallery will be closed from October 26 until the evening of November 17 in order to transition into the Holiday Artists Market.  From November 18 through November 30, the Holiday Artists Market hours will be Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Thanksgiving Day.  December hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.  The Spruill Gallery, as well as the Spruill Center for the Arts Education Center on Chamblee Dunwoody Road will be closed from December 24 through January 4.
