20 Health Organizations in Georgia Celebrated for Nurse Leaders Excellence

Monday, December 6th, 2021

On Thursday, Nov. 11, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association, celebrated its Magnet-designated and Pathway to Excellence-designated health organizations at the 2021 ANCC National Magnet Conference® and ANCC Pathway to Excellence Conference held at the Georgia World Congress Center Nov. 11-13.

A total of 20 health organizations in Georgia were recognized for having gone above and beyond in their commitment to nursing excellence by increasing patient outcomes and improving practice environments.

A list of the celebrated organizations follows, including those that were recognized with the designation for the first time this year. This is positive news for Georgia’s communities, as many of these organizations have endured the rigorous process of achieving designations and redesignations during the pandemic.

Consider a story about what it takes to make a commitment to being a high-quality health provider in today’s environment — and why the effort can make a difference to the patients and communities these organizations serve, as well as the nurses who care for them.
