Trimont Global Real Estate Advisors Announces New Executive Appointments

Trimont Global Real Estate Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mitchell Hunter to Global Chief Commercial Officer, James “Beau” Jones to the Head of Global Business Development, and Terri Magnani to Global Head of Investment Advisory.

With these appointments, our global client base will continue to experience the highest level of service wherever they operate in the world,” said Bill Sexton, Trimont CEO. “This team has always provided exceptional support to our clients and I am confident that in their new roles, they will continue to serve and grow our global client base as we head into 2022.”
Mr. Hunter is now charged with overseeing Trimont’s core business lines globally. Mitchell’s role is to ensure that clients continue to receive consistency in deliverables and best in class service. Mitchell will work closely with the heads of Trimont’s American, European and Asian Pacific business units in the delivery of service on a global basis. Previously, he served as President, Americas where he managed Trimont’s core business lines. Mitchell has over 27 years’ experience in the banking and commercial real estate industries, in both consumer and commercial lending. He has led Trimont’s non-performing/special servicing team along with various other teams within the performing credit and asset management department. He was also instrumental in developing the non-performing group in the early 2000s with an emphasis on construction resolutions.
Mr. Jones will focus on expanding Trimont’s already robust global client list. Prior to this appointment, Beau was head of Client Services for the American region. Beau has previously lived and worked in London and has over 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience, specifically in commercial real estate underwriting and asset management, with both domestic and international investments of all major property types, including equity and debt underwriting and asset management.
Ms. Magnani, who previously served as Managing Director, Investment Advisory Services - Americas will be expanding her current role to include responsibility for the advisory services in the EMEA and APAC regions, as well as the Americas. Terri has many years of experience in commercial real estate advisory, diligence and underwriting services for debt and equity transactions, restructuring and recapitalizations and asset surveillance. Additionally, she has a diverse background in bridge, construction and conduit loan underwriting, CMBS trading, structure and loan analysis as well as commercial real estate research.
