Adams Commercial Real Estate Sells The Seville for $2,525,000
Tuesday, January 11th, 2022
Adams Commercial Real Estate, celebrating its 43rd year in business, is pleased to announce the recent sale of The Seville, a historic shopping center originally constructed in 1965 and located at 714 Moreland Ave SE in East Atlanta. The recently renovated, triple net lease retail center includes 7,007 square feet of retail, restaurant and medical office space and features diverse tenants in the booming East Atlanta submarket. It was sold to an undisclosed buyer for $2,525,000.
The Seville, which underwent a nearly million-dollar renovation in 2020, was 100% leased at the time of sale. The property renovation was conducted through a joint venture managed by Clark Property R+D (CPRD). CPRD’s principal, Jesse Clark, was also the licensed owner-agent listing the property for sale with Adams Commercial Real Estate in the summer of 2021. After a brief marketing period, The Seville received multiple offers and closed in November 2021.
“This sale is an example of the continued strong investor demand for quality, well positioned retail projects in Atlanta’s eastside intown neighborhoods,” said Bill Adams, MBA, CCIM, ALC, founder – Adams Commercial Real Estate.
The renovation team included Local Architects as project architect; CORE Landscape as the landscape architect; and Gibson Construction as general contractor. King Commercial Properties, a joint venture partner in the project along with RAD Group, co-founders of Octane Coffee, managed property leasing.
