The Spruill Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of its inaugural exhibition for 2022. Welcoming back Finnish born artist, Ilona Cutts, Spruill Gallery and Northside Hospital are proud to  present Homecoming - New works from Ilona Cutts.

Since her initial showing at Spruill Gallery in the 2018 group exhibition, Finnish Illusion, Ilona Cutts has become a US Citizen. Her new solo exhibition, Homecoming, exhibits a new series of paintings and photographs that reflect on the feeling and idea of "Home." Having spent much of her life as a nomad, moving from country to country, Cutts has been searching for Home most of her life. She has the eye of a wanderer, like a plant without roots. It is this rootlessness that has formed her artistic style where a myriad of cultures can be seen in her fantastical figures and dreamlike landscapes.
