Forsyth Chamber Announces New Workforce Development Position

The Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce has developed a new position on their team for a Workforce Development Director. The position is the result of a long-standing partnership between the chamber and Forsyth County School System. The Chason Group (www.thechasongroup.com) has been retained to assist the chamber with the executive search process.

The Workforce Development Director is responsible for the successful management and effective implementation of the Forsyth Chamber’s workforce development initiatives. The goal is to support the development, retention, and attraction of a qualified local and regional labor force that leads to the success and growth of the local and regional economy. The position works with employers, K-12 and higher education partners, and other stakeholders to develop strategies and programs that build and strengthen Forsyth County’s current and future workforce. The position qualifies for working both remotely and in office.
