Vestavia Hills Chamber Launches Executive Search For President

Business and community leaders with the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce have launched an executive search process for a new president to lead the organization. Karen Odle, who has served in the position for the past 19 years, is retiring in May. The Chason Group has been retained to lead the search. The community is a part of the Birmingham MSA.
The Vestavia Hills Chamber is a membership organization that serves over 1,200 retail and service businesses, professionals, individuals, and retirees. The organization plays a key role in the community as a catalyst for economic growth, working with existing businesses in the area, creating partnerships with education entities, and striving for quality-of-life improvements for Vestavia Hills.
Candidates may be traditional or non-traditional. Applicants should have at least five years of executive management leadership experience in the business, chamber of commerce, association, economic development and/or community development field, or a combination of these.
