Walter Brooks, CEO and Executive Chef of Brooksmade Gourmet Foods, has been recognized as a new participant in Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator for 2022-23. His company creates and sells exceptional tasting sauces, condiments, and rubs.

Brooks is self-taught and began his career in catering and ultimately ventured into restaurants and consumer products. He is influenced by a rich Southern heritage—his late father was from Mississippi—and dynamic Caribbean Flavors, since his mother was from the Bahamas.

The Accelerator provides Brooks with resources to sell in Amazon’s store. He will also have access to a dedicated network of business mentors and coaches, including Amazon experts and small business thought leaders. This unique level of access will help him accelerate his business growth.

The Accelerator will give Brooks access to new opportunities to be featured in the Black-owned business storefronts for Amazon retail customers and Amazon Business customers and promotions featuring Black-owned businesses that will help customers find products from his business throughout the shopping experience.

Mr. Brooks is growing globally by selling his products in Dubai and other international outlets.
