Stonemark Management has hired Rhonda Brown as its newest Regional Manager. Brown’s initial responsibilities will include management and marketing of several multifamily communities in Mississippi.

“Rhonda comes to us with a wealth of experience in property management, overseeing many assets of various ages and asset classes,” said Stonemark President Walt Lamperski. “Her experience and the many property management-related certificates and licenses she has earned make her an important asset.”

Her duties as regional manager include managing on-site management staff; directing, budgeting and analyzing operations and marketing of properties; supervising contract and vendor negotiations; coordinating compliance with public agency affordable housing programs; and implementing capital improvement programs with accountability for portfolio performance.

Brown’s 25+ year career includes management positions with private firms and a large public housing authority. In addition to the management and administration of mixed-income properties, Rhonda has extensive knowledge of HUD programs and regulations including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance. 

Brown earned her M.S. and B.S. degrees from Southern University of New Orleans. She holds several certifications including Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and Certified Specialist - Public Housing Manager (CPHM).
