Startup Atlanta, a community non-profit focused on connecting and growing the local startup ecosystem, announced today that it has made an update to its Atlanta Startup Ecosystem Guide

The all-digital guide now includes a special section for female founders, featuring organizations, spaces, schools, and funding sources that are essential to success in Atlanta.

“As a member of the Startup Atlanta Board, I am extremely proud of this latest addition to the Guide,” said Amelia Schaffner, founding Director of Entrepreneurship at Emory University's Goizueta Business School in Atlanta. “Female founders are often an under-served, under-funded, and under-represented demographic, and yet they represent a fast-growing and high-performing set of entrepreneurs in Atlanta and around the country.”

The Startup Ecosystem Guide serves as a vital resource for entrepreneurs, and investors in Metro Atlanta.  Distributed electronically, the Atlanta Startup Ecosystem Guide reaches more than 15,000 people in the Atlanta region and is made available to select venture capital firms and business groups around the state and across the nation.

“Startup Atlanta is constantly evaluating and refining the Guide to better serve our ecosystem,” said Startup Atlanta Board Chair Jennifer Singh, Co-Founder of Understory. “This new section ensures that the Ecosystem Guide is more inclusive while expanding access to relevant tools that help everyone in our startup community to thrive.”
