St. Bourke, an Atlanta-based asset management and property development company, announces Brian Deriso, RLA as Senior Director – Planning & Design. Deriso is a highly experienced planning and design professional who brings more than two decades of experience in landscape architecture, site design and project management to the St. Bourke team.

“Brian has extensive experience in residential real estate including single-family, multifamily and senior living, as well as experience in commercial and hospitality,” Ben Simpson, president of St. Bourke, said. “This wealth of experience will help Brian to implement projects the St. Bourke Way – a set of principles, processes and procedures that facilitate planning and design excellence and foster a design-led culture.”

As Senior Director – Planning & Design, Deriso works alongside the Vice President – Planning & Design to support the overall design function at St. Bourke with a focus on preparing clear planning and design strategies and recommendations that add value and enhance the development potential of all properties in the portfolio. Deriso works closely with the team to identify and mitigate potential planning and design risks through creative planning strategies, develop project budgets and feasibilities, annual budgets and land-related capital requests. He manages the scoping, briefing, procurement and preparation of key design deliverables such as master plans, construction drawings and architectural guidelines.

Prior to joining the St. Bourke team in 2022, Deriso served as the Managing Landscape Architect for a leading architecture and design firm based in Atlanta where he managed a portfolio of projects valued from $20 to $150 million. In this capacity he prepared full-site hardscape and landscape construction plans and developed project budgets and fee proposals.
