Emory Law has recently announced several innovative programs:

Curricular enhancements for its juris master degree program, including two new concentrations in data, privacy, and technology law; and employment law and human resources. The data, privacy, and technology law concentration covers topics such as privacy, ethics, and the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace; trademark, patent, and copyright law; and licensing and trade secrets.

The school’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law program has received a gift from the Kazmarek Mowrey Cloud Laseter LLP law firm (KMCL) to establish a new diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative to promote broader diversity in the practice of environmental law. The new initiative at Emory will provide annual scholarships and summer stipends to students who will bring diversity to the environmental bar. The program will also provide these students with opportunities to engage with prominent environmental attorneys, community and business leaders, government officials, and scholars through conferences, workshops, or other formal and informal convenings.

The Center for Civil Rights and Social Justice, serving as a hub for interdisciplinary scholarship, research, reaching, evidence-base policy reform and community outreach that improves the lives of individuals who have experienced violations of their civil rights and been impacted by social injustice.
