WGU and Prospanica Announce Partnership Agreement

Prospanica, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Hispanics to reach their full educational, economic, and social potential, has announced a partnership with nonprofit, online Western Governors University (WGU) that will allow its more than 30,000 members to pursue affordable degree programs and credentials at WGU.
Prospanica members will have access to flexible, personalized learning pathways to career-advancing credentials. Under the terms of the partnership, members are eligible to apply for the $2,500 WGU Collaborative Agreement Scholarship to aid in their WGU studies.

Estep, WGU’s Southeast Regional Vice President. “We are proud to partner with such a fantastic organization to expand opportunities for students and professionals alike to further their education and achieve career success.”
“We are delighted to collaborate with WGU to provide a pathway to affordable degrees and credentials for our members,” said Omaira Jesus, Prospanica’s Program Support Specialist. “This partnership is yet another way that Prospanica helps provide all our members with the tools they need to succeed.”
As a leader in the higher education landscape for 25 years, WGU offers more than 60 online degree programs in business, education, health, and information technology, as well as several micro-credential options that can be stacked toward a degree. Tuition is around $8,000 per year for most undergraduate degree programs. Every program is mentor-supported and designed to fit into busy work and home schedules.
