CBRE today announced that Storage Post, a full-service real estate company focused on the acquisition, repositioning, re-branding, and management of self-storage assets, has relocated its headquarters within Atlanta’s Buckhead Plaza. The company leased 15,000 sq. ft. on the 19th floor of One Buckhead Plaza.
Founded in 1998, Storage Post currently operates 34 self-storage facilities across New York, New Jersey and Louisiana and is actively acquiring new facilities. Led by industry veteran Bruce C. Roch, Jr., the company had previously been headquartered on the 3rd floor of Two Buckhead Plaza. Its new full-floor space is leased for 13 years.
Dale Lewis with CBRE in Atlanta represented Storage Post in lease negotiations with Atlanta-based Cousins Properties.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to represent Storage Post for the last 15 years and it was a pleasure assisting them in their latest move,” said Mr. Lewis, Senior Vice President at CBRE. “When this space became available, Storage Post was quick to jump at the opportunity to be located on a top floor with multiple balconies.”
“One Buckhead Plaza is a marquis building in the Buckhead submarket and the location of the building, coupled with the balcony space and building amenities, made it an easy choice for us,” said William A. “Billy” Palmer III, Storage Post’s Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. “Cousins was great to work with and we are excited to have this unparalleled space for our Atlanta headquarters.”
