Compass of Greater Atlanta announces the promotion of Martha Hayhurst to Regional Vice President, Georgia and The Carolinas, and the promotion of Chris Burell to Managing Director of Sales and Georgia Broker of record. Martha and Chris are responsible for spearheading the growth of Compass agents locally, as well as supporting the brokerage’s expansion in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. 

Martha Hayhurst brings almost 40 years of experience in the residential real estate industry in Atlanta. Through her previous role as Managing Director of Compass of Greater Atlanta, she taps into decades of experience serving clients and leading agents in her new position. Martha will work alongside Managing Directors and Sales Managers in Georgia and the Carolinas to build Compass’ presence in both regions and grow the leadership of the sales teams in both regions.

Chris Burell joined Compass of Greater Atlanta in July of 2021 and brings almost 20 years of experience in the residential real estate industry in Atlanta to his new role. Having served in positions ranging from Sales Agent to Broker of Record at other firms, Chris is a veritable expert on Atlanta’s ever-changing real estate landscape. In his new position, Chris will be responsible for the ongoing growth of Compass agents as well as the growth of Compass’ presence in Georgia.
