Stonewood Village Shopping Center Trades in Auction for $6.15 Million

Marcus & Millichap, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the online auction sale of Stonewood Village Shopping Center, a 51,328-square-foot retail center in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The 17-tenant asset sold for a total purchase price of $6,457,500 or $125.80 per square foot.

Stonewood Village Shopping Center was built on a 5.24-acre site in 1970, with façade and parking lot renovations in 2021. Nationally recognized long-term tenants include Dollar General, Rent-A-Center, Waffle House, Little Caesars, Cricket Wireless, C&C Beauty Supply, and Bank of America. The retail center was sold in a two-day auction via the online real estate transaction platform RealINSIGHT Marketplace.

Howard Bregman, first vice president investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office has the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, IPF Stonewood Limited Partners, and Bregman collaborated with Adam Sklaver and Philip Kates, senior vice presidents of the Marcus & Millichap Commercial Property Auction Services team to market the asset. Criterion, LLC, co-founded by Braden Cheek in Oklahoma, purchased the property. John Leonard, Marcus & Millichap's broker of record in Georgia, assisted in closing this transaction.
