CONNOLLY, an Atlanta-based real estate developer and investor announces Parkside on Dresden, a $70 million mixed-use project in Brookhaven’s prestigious Dresden Corridor. Construction began this month on the four-acre site which includes luxury apartments and townhomes, retail and restaurant spaces and a six-level parking deck. The development will open in mid-2024.
“Parkside on Dresden will enhance the thriving, walkable Dresden corridor with luxury residential units and a curated selection of restaurants, shops, and service providers,” says Timothy “J.R.” Connolly, chief executive officer, CONNOLLY. “We’ve designed this project to fit seamlessly into the surrounding community, which epitomizes intown living at its finest—it’s the modern Main Street.”
Developed by Terwilliger Pappas, the residential component of Parkside on Dresden is called Solis Dresden Village and is comprised of a five-story building which includes 176 luxury apartment homes with a landscaped roof deck and pool. Seven well-appointed townhomes provide additional residential options along Caldwell Road.
To serve residents and visitors alike, CONNOLLY is developing 30,000 square feet of sidewalk-facing real estate to accommodate 11 retail storefronts and four inline restaurant spaces, with a fifth freestanding restaurant located near the townhomes.
The retail tenant mix at Parkside on Dresden focuses on diverse culinary options, wellness services, independent boutiques and service providers. “We have substantial interest from both local and regional brands who want to open a storefront at Parkside on Dresden because it offers a unique environment with an extremely strong consumer base,” continues Connolly. “With very few opportunities left to establish a location along Dresden Drive, businesses are eager to be a part of the last remaining major development in this high-energy corridor.”
Finally, befitting the project’s name as well as Atlanta’s reputation as “The City in the Forest,” 25% of the Parkside on Dresden site is dedicated to public greenspace. The destination also provides easy access to two pet-friendly recreational parks as well as some of the area’s most popular pedestrian and cycling trails.
