A Grand Slam and Family Friendly Events Happening at Atlantic Station in July

The summer heat is rising, but that doesn’t stop the fun at Atlantic Station. The Atlanta Open returns with action-packed matchups to kick-off the US Open series. Watch movies under the summer stars at Screen on the Green. Bring the little ones to Tot Spot, a free monthly children’s event on Atlantic Green. Wellness Wednesday continues in July with complimentary fitness classes hosted by atl kula. Celebrate creativity and shop local every weekend at Maker’s Market. July is packed with a variety of events for the whole family to enjoy at Atlantic Station!

Screen on the Green
Make outdoor movies a new family tradition this summer at Atlantic Station. Twice a month, a different family-friendly film will be featured on the jumbotron at Atlantic Green. This month’s features are The Spongebob Squarepants Movie and King Richard. Don’t forget to bring blankets, chairs and your favorite movie snacks. Tot Spot
This month’s Tot Spot theme is Station Safari with special appearances by critter friends from Zoo Atlanta for a fun, educational and interactive experience. Crafts and snacks will be provided, but guests should bring their own sunscreen. Tot Spot is free to attend and designed for children ages five and under, but all are welcome! All Tot Spot attendees will receive a special Tot Spot A-Card that can be used at select restaurants and retailers for discounts, so stick around after playtime for a delicious lunch. ATL Tiny Doors Open Studio
Stop in and meet Atlantic Station’s artist-in-residence, Karen Anderson Singer of Tiny Doors ATL, when she opens her studio for a behind-the-scenes peek into how her public art comes to life. See Tiny Doors in progress, shop exclusive merchandise, view the retired door gallery and learn how she has become one of Atlanta’s most popular and well known artists. Atlanta Open
The Atlanta Open returns to Atlantic Station with adrenaline-inducing matchups to kick-off the U.S. Open tennis series! Watch players like six-time Atlanta Open champion John Isner and rising tennis stars Taylor Fritz and Reilly Opelka as they fight for the coveted titles! Ticket options include weeklong access, weekend access, single session access, VIP and special events. Maker’s Market
Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon - 7 p.m.
Maker’s Market continues in June supporting Atlanta’s most talented creators at the beloved artisan market. On Saturdays and Sundays, guests can shop from local vendors with items for sale, such as art, home decor, jewelry, candles and more. There will be tasty treats, skilled artists and plenty of fun for everyone to experience. Maker’s Market is pending favorable weather conditions and vendors will vary from weekend to weekend. Wellness Wednesdays
Wednesday, July 6, 13 and 20 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Give your mind and body some love by joining Atlantic Station and atl kula for free outdoor wellness classes on July 6, 13 and 20, supporting the kula care foundation. New this year is the digital Namaste Loyalty Card where guests can sign up to earn special rewards when they attend class, such as free gear and discounts at select retailers and restaurants in Atlantic Station. Attendees can add the card to their mobile wallet and present it at the Wellness Wednesday check-in to start collecting stamps and redeem rewards. The Sistah Shop
Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Sundays from noon - 7 p.m.
Newly opened retail experience, The Sistah Shop, is an initiative by The Sistah’s in Business Expo, the nation’s only multi-city small business community created to celebrate and educate entrepreneurial women of color. The Sistah Shop retails a curated collection of products solely made by women of color and showcases local vendors in a pop-up model on weekends.
