OmniSpeech, the artificial intelligence (AI) voice technology company on a mission to remove noise and improve voice quality across any app, device, or environment today announced it has been accepted into the Advanced Technology Development Center’s ATDC Accelerate portfolio of companies.
Founded by world-renowned electrical engineer and Atlanta native, Dr. Carol Espy-Wilson, OmniSpeech recently signed its second commercial agreement with a public company as more organizations and end users look to improve the quality of voice experience across apps and devices.
ATDC, a program of Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute, is the state of Georgia’s technology incubator. The ATDC Accelerate portfolio is for early-stage companies that have at least one full-time and one part-time employee, have developed a minimal viable product (MVP), and have begun refining product-market fit. Curriculum and services offered at this level are designed to accelerate customer acquisition and product development.

OmniSpeech has experienced a rapid increase in the demand for its voice technology applications, accelerated by remote work, home creators, and the integration of voice assistants into billions of IoT devices globally. OmniSpeech has current live integrations with Aeris Communications as well as an exciting roadmap of product integrations publicly launching this year. OmniSpeech expects to raise its Series A this year. The company is currently ramping up hiring across departments with a goal of more than doubling staff by the end of 2022.

In conjunction with participation in ATDC, Nakia Melecio, ATDC’s senior startup and deep tech catalyst, will work with OmniSpeech as a business adviser and venture coach. Melecio, who is also a Georgia Tech senior research faculty and an adjunct instructor at the Morehouse School of Medicine, has served as a longtime technology startup mentor at several organizations including the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (NSF I-Corps), the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), MIT Hack Medicine, NSF I-Corps, and StartMe at Emory University.
