Atlanta Metro Area Ranks 6th in the U.S. for Coworking Spaces

The coworking concept started gaining popularity even before the pandemic. And the recent work-from-anywhere revolution, coupled with people straying further away from traditional office models, has only accelerated this trend that seems to be here to stay.
With this in mind, we set out to find out which U.S. metros offer the most options for coworking. In order to do that, we looked at the number of coworking spaces in the U.S. and ranked the top 25 places.
Here are our major findings on the Atlanta metro area:

The Atlanta metro area comes 6th in our report regarding the number of coworking spaces – 252.

The city itself checks 133 coworking spaces, while the next place inside the metro — Alpharetta — has 20.

Additionally, in 2021, there were almost four times more remote workers in the city of Atlanta as compared to 2019, a percentage that went up from 10% to 39%.

Overall, the New York metro area took the first spot with the highest number of coworking spaces this year – 594.
