Colony Bank today announced that Kristie McMahan has been named Director of Commercial Administration, Senior Vice President.

McMahan joined the Company as Commercial Banker, Senior Vice President in August of 2021 through the merger of Colony Bank and SouthCrest Bank. McMahan, who has nearly 25 years of banking experience, has also held positions such as portfolio manager, credit administration manager, and loan operations manager. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Wofford College and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Georgia.

Commenting on the announcement, Laurie Senn, Chief Operations Officer, said, “We’re excited about Kristie's transition into this new role. Her extensive experience in various areas of the bank gives her a unique perspective on the needs of our business customers and how we can best serve them. We look forward to Kristie’s continued contributions to our commercial banking team.”

McMahan and her husband, Scott, reside in Decatur with their two daughters, and attend Oak Grove United Methodist Church. McMahan remains active in the community volunteering at her daughters’ schools and with organizations such as Junior Achievement. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling.
