The Council for Quality Growth will honor Carol B. Tomé, Chief Executive Officer of United Parcel Service, with its 33rd annual Four Pillar Award. The reception and dinner is presented by the Arthur M. Blank Foundation, Chick- fil-A, Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot Foundation, the New York Stock Exchange – an ICE Exchange, and UPS, and it will be held on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Georgia Ballroom at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Tomé’s chosen theme is LEAD to Inspire, SERVE to Create, and GIVE to Remain, a way she has also framed her personal and professional journey. This year’s event will feature special Tribute speakers David Abney, Arthur M. Blank, Virginia Hepner, and Kurt Kuehn to speak to Tomé’s demonstration of the Council’s ‘Four Pillars’ of Quality, Responsibility, Vision, and Integrity, respectively. Andy Stanley of North Point Ministries will provide an invocation, and Frank Blake, former Chairman & CEO of The Home Depot, will emcee the evening. Governor Brian Kemp is also slated to provide welcoming remarks on behalf of the State of Georgia, as well as Mayor Andre Dickens for the City of Atlanta. In addition, the evening will feature a musical tribute by the members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s string quartet and a special live performance from the Atlanta Ballet.
