APS to Pivot to Virtual Learning Day, Tuesday, December 6 for Senate Run-Off Election

Atlanta Public Schools has announced that Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, will be a virtual, asynchronous learning day for all schools and District departments.
The run-off election for one of Georgia’s U.S. Senate seats will be held that day and 29 APS facilities are active polling stations, with three additional locations serving as ballot drop-off sites. As such, APS will pivot to virtual learning that day in order to support quality teaching and learning while balancing the safety and security of scholars and staff.
The District will return to in-person learning on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022.
