Fulton County Juvenile Court Hosts National Adoption Day 11-19

National Adoption Day is widely celebrated throughout the US and Canada to finalize and celebrate adoptions of children from foster care each year. On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Fulton County Juvenile Court will host its 21st Annual National Adoption Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom.  This year’s virtual event is led by Chief Presiding Judge Juliette Scales and will feature Ms. Ashli Lincoln, Investigative Reporter for WSBTV as the Mistress of Ceremonies and Ms. Jessica Pennington, Director of the Truancy Intervention Project as the keynote speaker. The Court will also present the 6th Annual Honorable Willie J. Lovett, Jr. Award for Outstanding Service to Children to a distinguished Juvenile Justice Center employee.

Fulton County Juvenile Court is honored to host National Adoption Day ceremony in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of adoption, emphasize that every family matters, and celebrate Fulton County Juvenile Court’s dedication to celebrating forever families.
