Gimme, whose technology helps food service and grocery store delivery operators automate merchandising, today announced that CEO & Co-Founder Cory Hewett and Jonathan Raye, Operations Specialist, were selected as recipients of the coveted Automatic Merchandiser and VendingMarketWatch.com’s 2022 Pros to Know Award.
The ninth annual Automatic Merchandiser esteemed Pros to Know Award recognizes outstanding individuals whose accomplishments are moving the industry forward and go above and beyond to promote their companies in the vending, micro market and office coffee service industry. This award highlights both individual and group achievements that promote industry innovation and future growth. This year candidates were noted for the essential role they played in helping their companies survive and succeed and who have persevered through a slow recovery from the pandemic, rising costs, labor shortages, supply chain issues, elevating the workplace refreshment experience, and embracing new technology for the industry.
“So nice to see my co-founder and partner honored for his time and dedication to this industry we are so passionate about,” said Evan Jarecki, co-founder of Gimme. “Cory is constantly looking for ways to improve our technology, solutions, and customer satisfaction. This year specifically, Cory helped Gimme receive a notice of allowance for a patent covering use of mobile reporting devices in a DSD environment and worked on migrating Gimme exclusively to the Google Cloud platform. I also admire how he continually looks for ways to give broader visibility to the vending industry.”
As a company that is leading initiatives to help transform and revolutionize what has been a very traditional industry, this award accentuates Gimme’s dedication to providing vending, micro markets, and office coffee operators with better cash and inventory accountability and accurate product inventories.
“Jonathan has a passion for new technology and applies his skills to make technology in vending better,” added Jarecki. “His ability to empathize with customers is inspiring, as he has a way of putting himself in the shoes of the customer to align needs and expectations with solutions and results.”
