Hartsfield-Jackson Releases Concessions Opportunities for Bid
Monday, November 28th, 2022
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and the City of Atlanta’s Department of Procurement are now accepting proposals to refresh the ATLSkypointe food, beverage and retail program at the world’s busiest airport. This phase of the concessions master plan is an update of twelve locations and is divided into two packages totaling approximately 19,200 square feet across concourses B, C, E, and F. These new food, beverage and retail concepts will serve the Airport’s nearly 100 million annual passengers.
This request for proposal reflects progression in ATL’s concessions master plan, which will reimagine over 300,000 square feet of space once all projects are complete.
“As one of the region’s most influential economic engines, ATL is clearly moving in the right direction,” said Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. “With the rapid growth of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the City will continue to ensure that the prosperity and opportunity that comes with that growth is within reach for everyone. This is a legacy that began with Mayor Maynard Jackson, who ensured that minority and women-owned businesses had a seat at the table—and it is a legacy this Administration will proudly carry on for an equitable Atlanta.”
“Hartsfield-Jackson is a global leader in the aviation industry and it is a priority to provide an exceptional customer experience for passengers traveling to and through ATL,” said ATL General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari. “The opportunities included in these proposals will align with our enterprise goals to enhance the customer experience with desirable concessions offerings and services.”
“Interested proponents are encouraged to participate in these Requests for Proposals. The concessions procurement process will be transparent, open, fair, and inclusive,” said Jaideep Majumdar, the City of Atlanta’s Chief Procurement Officer. “These proposals will offer the supplier community the opportunity to create value through partnership, collaboration, and innovation.”
Package One (F1) is comprised of five food and beverage opportunities that will be available on Concourse B, including a fast casual restaurant, two coffee concepts, a casual dining restaurant, and a bar with food options.
Package Two (H1) includes a gourmet market and quick service restaurant on Concourse C. Two coffee locations, one bar/restaurant option, and two retail/convenience options on Concourse E; and a gourmet market and bar on Concourse F.
