Jackson Healthcare, a family of highly specialized healthcare staffing, search and technology companies, today announced that its president, Shane Jackson, has been named to Georgia Trend’s GEORGIA 500, a new publication recognizing leaders who best demonstrate innovation, vitality and success across the state’s business landscape.

GEORGIA 500 is comprised of individuals from both the private and public sectors who work across various industries, including aerospace, banking, education, government, healthcare, manufacturing, nonprofit, real estate and transportation. To compile the issue, Georgia Trend accepted nominations, completed extensive research and conducted hundreds of interviews.

Jackson has been recognized in the premiere edition of GEORGIA 500 for his contributions to the healthcare industry. Since assuming the role of president in 2014, he has consistently led the organization to growth of more than double the industry average, establishing Jackson Healthcare as one of the largest healthcare staffing organizations in the country and among Georgia’s top private companies. The publication specifically highlights his work expanding the nation’s COVID-19 response capacity and spearheading an innovative staffing model that shortened the time it took to place healthcare professionals when and where they were needed amid the pandemic – resulting in patients in all 50 states receiving expedited critical care.
