The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) has selected Forensics and Litigation Principal Natalie Lewis as a global candidate for its Board of Regents ballot. Members will vote on candidates through Nov. 30, and two candidates will be elected from the six to serve a two-year term on the Board of Regents.

The Regents have “sole authority over the admission of members, including, but not limited to, examination standards. They also establish CPE requirements and are responsible for establishing, modifying and enforcing the CFE Code of Professional Ethics, as well as all other matters necessary to maintain the high standards of the ACFE,” according to ACFE’s website. 

“Natalie’s candidacy speaks to the professionalism and high ethical standards to which she holds herself to and how she interacts with others,” CEO & Managing Partner Heidi LaMarca said. “As a CFE, CFF and CPA, she’s distinguished herself as someone our clients seek for forensic and litigation support. Both internally and externally from Windham Brannon, she’s known as the person you want on your team.”

Throughout her career, Natalie has conducted fraud investigations for companies of all sizes, ranging from small closely held businesses to Fortune 50 companies and government entities. Her investigations have spanned the globe and include various internal investigations, embezzlement, Ponzi schemes, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and asset misappropriation. Her expertise centers on fraud investigations, lost profits and damage calculations, business interruption and fidelity insurance claims, and litigation support.  

She’s also a 2019 AICPA Standing Ovation Winner and an AICPA Certified Data Analyst, having completed the Data Analytics Core Concepts Certificate, Application of Data Analysis Essentials Certificate, Data Analytics Modeling Certificate, Forecasting and Predictive Analytics Certificate and the Data Visualization Certificate.
