Creative Direct and LINK Public Affairs announced Monday the opening of its new Atlanta, Georgia office. The office will be led by Vice President Jason Mashburn, a Georgia native who served as a political consultant to Governor Brian Kemp’s 2022 re-election campaign, to service existing and new clients.

Mashburn is a 20 plus year veteran of political campaigns, consulting and Capitol Hill. Mashburn has worked on the staff of Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, United States Senator Paul Coverdell and advised hundreds of candidates up-and-down the ballot. Most recently, Mashburn devised the voter contact mail strategy for Governor Brian Kemp’s successful re-election campaign.

“Jason’s wealth of knowledge of Georgia politics and campaigns is a tremendous asset to LINK’s efforts in Georgia,” said Creative Direct Principal and LINK Founding Partner Travis Smith. “We are excited for the growth Jason will create for us in Georgia.”

“I’m coming home,” said Mashburn. “For years, we’ve grown our presence in Georgia from Richmond, and I am excited at the opportunity to do even more with a full-time presence. We work at the intersection of politics, campaigns, and public policy, and look forward to bringing our experience and perspective to bear on behalf of our clients in Georgia.”

Other notable Georgia political clients served by Mashburn at Creative Direct have included Karen Handel’s special election victory over Jon Ossoff in 2017, the Georgia House Republican Caucus in 2020 and former Senator Kelly Loeffler’s political organization, “Greater Georgia” in 2022.

Jason Mashburn is a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Political Science. He co-founded and serves on the Board of Directors of Cancer Kicks, an Atlanta-based non-profit organization, which raises funds for rare cancer research.
