The City of Sandy Springs has partnered with the Community Assistance Center (CAC) Career Center and Goodwill of North Georgia to connect employers and jobseekers in a comprehensive job fair. Sandy Springs Connects! will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, at the City Springs Performing Arts Center in Sandy Springs. The fair will feature employers from a range of industries and company sizes in Sandy Springs and the surrounding communities. Jobseekers will have the opportunity to learn about job openings, meet with hiring managers, and find their new career path.

“The City of Sandy Springs has all the components that make it a great location to work,” said Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul. “We are home to six Fortune 500 headquarters and multiple businesses that provide a variety of services for local, national, and international clients.”

Space is still available for companies in the Sandy Springs area with multiple job openings and career paths with room for growth. Companies that wish to participate can apply at tinyurl.com/SandySpringsConnectsReg.

The nonprofit partners involved in hosting Sandy Springs Connects! launched the event to help jobseekers combat inflation and secure a solid financial situation. “It is fortunate that Sandy Springs has so many great employers with great benefits and room for growth,” shares George Northrop, CAC Career Center Director. “Sandy Springs Connects! is the right opportunity for a lot of our neighbors to find a new job that can set them up for success.”

“Goodwill of North Georgia is proud to partner with the City of Sandy Springs and CAC in supporting both employers and jobseekers in the community,” adds Glorivee Cruz-Velazquez, Goodwill’s Director of Employment Services. Goodwill and CAC worked together in 2021 to bring monthly workshops and job fairs to the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs area. “We hope that Sandy Springs Connects! will become an annual event.”

Sandy Springs Connects! will be sharing its list of participating companies, including potential jobs and basic employer information, on its website, tinyurl.com/SandySpringsConnects. Registration for jobseekers will begin on Monday, December 5.
