Bennett Thrasher, one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing certified public accounting and consulting firms is pleased to announce the admission of seven professionals to the partnership, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

The new partner class is the largest in the firm’s forty two-year history, and ushers in a diverse class of outstanding talent to the firm.

Nina Desai focuses on R&D tax credits in Bennett Thrasher’s Credits and Incentives practice. Her experience includes helping claim tax credits for clients of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500. Nina’s industry expertise includes construction, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution and technology.

Nina earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) and her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University.

DiAndria “Dee” Green supports clients in all aspects of sales tax compliance in the firm’s State and Local Tax practice, which includes implementing and managing a sales tax compliance automation process using tax software; registering clients for sales tax purposes; calculating sales tax; filing sales tax returns; and resolving state notice and audit issues.

DiAndria earned her Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), a Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University and a Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation from Boston University.

Dane Harris leads the firm’s efforts in Texas and surrounding markets, with a focus on private equity advisory and transaction advisory services. Dane has significant experience in all transaction types both from his time spent internationally at a Big Four firm and through his extensive middle market experience in Texas.

Dane earned his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech University and his Master of International Business from Munich Business School in Munich, Germany.

Ray Lee specializes in IT internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting, with over 14 years of experience in his role in the firm’s Risk Advisory Services practice. His industry experience includes technology, manufacturing and supply chain, and energy.

Ray earned his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Emory University and his Master of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University.

Gabe Rivers focuses on providing income tax planning and tax compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and families, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and private foundations, bringing more than 10 years of experience to his role in Bennett Thrasher’s Personal Financial Services practice.

Gabe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.

Brian Sengson specializes in multistate tax planning, with an emphasis on sales and use, income and franchise, and transfer taxes in Bennett Thrasher’s Transaction Advisory Services group. His industry experience includes healthcare, private equity, professional services, and technology.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science (Business) from Lee University and his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University.

Chris Tomaselli focuses on providing timely financial and operational visibility and control for high growth companies through a combination of business transformation services in Bennett Thrasher’s Outsourced Accounting Practice.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science (Accountancy) and Master of Accountancy from Northern Illinois University.
