CHRIS 180 Announces New Chief People Officer

Matthew Mitchell has been named the new Chief People Officer for CHRIS 180, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing trauma-informed mental health services for children, youth and families. In his role, Mitchell will function as a strategic business partner and oversee the human resources operations for CHRIS 180 and its more than 400 staff members.

Mitchell has more than twelve years of experience in the professional sphere, including a stint as a Presidential Management Fellow - Human Resource Specialist from 2013-2014. His work since has covered human resources across retail, the public sector, creative services and healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida A & M University and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Central Florida. As a respected thought leader in the field, he has been published in HR Executive Magazine, HRM Today and several HR blogs.
