Friday, January 20th, 2023
Clearwave Fiber, an Internet service provider with more than 600 associates, opens an office location this month in Conyers at 1510 Klondike Road, inside the Summit Grove Office Park.
A grand opening celebration and commemorative ribbon cutting will take place at the office location on Tuesday, January 24 at 1:30 p.m. Conyers Mayor Vince Evans is scheduled to be in attendance, along with Clearwave Fiber President David Armistead and Conyers Chamber of Commerce Chair Craig Evans.
During the event, Clearwave Fiber will present a donation to Rockdale Emergency Relief (RER). Founded in 1967, RER is the longest-serving non-profit human service organization specifically dedicated to serving Rockdale County residents in need of assistance. RER’s JaNice VanNess and Sandra Jackson-Lett will be on hand to accept the donation.
The new location supports the company’s growth and goal to bring the most advanced and fastest Internet available to more than 500,000 homes and businesses across the United States by 2026. Clearwave Fiber’s first year exceeded expectations for market expansion with 50,000 newly constructed fiber passings, serving a combined commercial and residential subscriber base of more than 22,000 customers.
