Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Atlanta will cohost its 15^th annual economic forecast in which Dr. Marci Rossell will share insights on the global economic outlook for 2023. Always a sold-out event, the popular interactive lecture will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18 at the Cobb Performing Arts Center.

A world-renowned economist and financial expert, Rossell will discuss America’s current and future role in the global economy, factors responsible for recessions, how Washington influences Wall Street and the markets, and the specific forecast for the U.S. economy over the course of the next 18-24 months. Drawing on history, theory, and her ringside seat to Wall Street, she will deliver an insider’s perspective on the most important economic events of our time and discuss the impact of key factors including inflation, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages and the possibility of a recession. Rossell will outline the current state of the economy, monetary policy, movements in the stock market, oil prices and the real estate market. She will discuss how the current economy is symptomatic of a larger trend: businesses today face a variety of seismic surprises, including cyberterrorism, environmental disasters, swings in the regulatory regime, and, yes, pandemics.
