– CBRE’s Self Storage Advisory Group announced the sale of a three-
property self storage portfolio consisting of 1,912 total units in the Atlanta, GA area. Gwinnett Self
Storage sold the portfolio to Wentworth Property Company for $43.5 million.
CBRE’s Self Storage Advisory Group represented the seller, a private investor, in the transaction. The
buyer was unrepresented.
The properties in the portfolio included:
 2600 Lawrenceville Highway in Lawrenceville, GA
 1475 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville, GA
 3950 Five Forks Trickum Road in Lilburn, GA

“Even in today’s challenging time for commercial real estate, self storage is still one of the few preferred
product types by local, regional and institutional capital sources,” said Nick Walker, a Vice Chairman at
CBRE.

The three properties total 242,500 square feet of self-storage space. Each of the buildings are
strategically located in in high growth markets, as Gwinnett County boasts 18% growth over the past
decade. Additionally, 192,969 residents live within a five-mile radius from the properties. Occupancy
was at 94% across the portfolio at the time of the sale.
“Georgia and the southeast sunbelt region have continued to attract buyers from all over the country due

to its tremendous population growth and this portfolio was no exception,” said Morgan Windbiel, a
Senior Vice President at CBRE. “I’m extremely excited for the sellers to head into retirement after
building and operating such a strong portfolio.”
