Grady Health System to Open Outpatient Centers at Lee + White and Cascade Road in Metro Atlanta

Grady Health System has signed leases to establish outpatient centers at Lee + White, the mixed-use development located in the heart of Atlanta’s West End community, and at Cascade Road in South Atlanta. The new locations are part of Grady’s mission to improve healthcare services in historically underserved areas of central and south Fulton County.

Grady’s new neighborhood health centers will be located at:

Lee + White Outpatient Center, Building 1000, Lee + White, Atlanta, GA 30310

Cascade Outpatient Center, 3355 Cascade Rd., Atlanta, GA 30311

"We have listened to our community and paid close attention to the areas that need more health services. We conducted research and identified these neighborhoods that have seen significant population growth but have historically lacked access to primary and specialty care,” said John Haupert, President and CEO at Grady.

Added Haupert: “We are excited to continue partnering with other community providers and our county partners to serve patients by meeting them where they are to improve their health and well-being."

The centers will be fully staffed to provide comprehensive primary care and specialty services, including cardiology, HIV services, mammography, rehabilitation, x-ray, lab, and pharmacy.

The mixed-use Lee + White development, owned by partners Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners, is a growing community hub of business and entertainment encompassing 442,562 square feet, providing convenient access via a nearby MARTA rail station and all of Atlanta’s interstates. 3355 Cascade Road is a 9,258-square-foot medical office facility owned by Ackerman & Co. and offering excellent accessibility via Cascade Road and I-285.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Porter Henritze and Melanie Garlock completed the lease at Lee + White with Grady on behalf of ownership, and Ackerman & Co.’s Frank Farrell represented Ackerman in the lease at Cascade Road. Bryant Cornett of DT Spade represented Grady in both leases.

The Cascade location will open by July 2023 and the Lee + White location will open in late 2023. With the two new health centers, Grady will operate eight outpatient centers serving metro Atlanta.

MDH Partners and Ackerman & Co. acquired Lee + White in September 2019, continuing the transformation of the property by adding a 19-vendor food hall, more than 200,000 square feet of creative offices, new retail and the “Great Lawn” central gathering and event space.
