Trinity Hunt Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm focused on services businesses, is proud to announce a majority investment in Centricity Research, a leading clinical research services provider specializing in conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials across more than 40 therapeutic areas.
With over 35 locations across the United States and Canada, Centricity has the capabilities and expertise in a vast array of trial types to partner effectively with pharmaceutical sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) in the design and execution of clinical trials. The company’s centralized processes, expansive patient recruitment capabilities, integrated technology, and dedicated team of clinical research professionals have successfully led to over 2,500 studies conducted and more than 100 FDA and Health Canada drug approvals.
“We are confident that Trinity Hunt's expertise in partnering with growing healthcare services companies and its shared commitment to providing an empowering team environment will help us drive innovation and make significant strides as we continue to expand," said Centricity President Dr. Jeff Kingsley.
In partnership with Centricity’s seasoned management team, Trinity Hunt plans to expand the company’s capabilities and therapeutic coverage areas by investing in organic growth initiatives and acquiring complementary clinical research site businesses. Trinity Hunt and Centricity are aligned in their focus on preserving and enhancing the existing culture and talent of the company.
“The clinical research industry is highly fragmented, and clinical trials are becoming increasingly complex for sponsors and CROs to execute. Trinity Hunt recognizes the opportunity these market dynamics present for the growth of a leading organization like Centricity, and we are committed to collaborating with its outstanding team across North America to continue to scale the business as a market leader in the clinical research space," said John Oakes, principal at Trinity Hunt.
