New CEO for Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities

Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) names Tracey Atwater as the organization’s new President & CEO. She will assume the role effective July 31 from Beth Howell, who has led the organization since 2013.
“We are thrilled to have Tracey’s leadership as we enter the next exciting phase at Atlanta RMHC to support the growing demand for specialized medical treatment in Atlanta,” said Grace Huang, Board Chair, Atlanta RMHC. “Atlanta RMHC is well-positioned for its next phase of growth and development as an organization, thanks to the strong and able leadership of Beth and the leadership team.”
Atwater brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising expertise to the Charity. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of LiveSafe Resources, an organization that helps survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also previously served as WellStar Foundation's president and foundation administration vice president at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. In addition, as a leading cause marketing and fundraising consultant, Atwater has worked with dozens of organizations to help establish partnerships and fund critical programs throughout metro Atlanta and across the country.
She earned a bachelor's degree from Furman University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. She resides in Atlanta.
