The Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail is adding a new lifestyle brand to a growing list of redevelopments in the area. Telephone Factory Lofts at 828 Ralph McGill Blvd NE is excited to welcome The Union, a groundbreaking wellness social hub founded by Ty McMath, the visionary behind Torch Fitness. The Union is set to transform over 10,000 square feet of space into a dynamic fitness destination uniting professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Edie Weintraub, Founder of terra alma, shares her enthusiasm, "We are thrilled to have The Union join the Telephone Factory Lofts community. This innovative fitness concept perfectly complements the vibrant atmosphere and rich history of Perennial Properties’ building." terra alma currently has an additional 10,000 square feet of lower level space available for lease that steps out directly on the Atlanta BeltLine. This space is perfect for a restaurant or entertainment venue.
With 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, McMath has created a unique startup that offers best-in-class service, drawing on his Ritz Carlton background to provide an unparalleled fitness experience. McMath states, “The Union aims to become an incubator for independent fitness professionals, nurturing the growth of the next Peloton or Flybar.”
In a city saturated with mainstream fitness brands, The Union offers a fresh alternative for professionals seeking a workout space on the BeltLine. Nestled along the BeltLine, The Union is ideally positioned to serve the employees of companies with headquarters nearby, like FanDuel and Mailchimp, and residents of surrounding apartments.
The Union has gained support from Invest Atlanta, and even the mayor has paid a visit. Dominick Preyer, Head of the Pack at The Union, joined the team a few months ago and has been instrumental in forging connections with the community, having previously worked with the nonprofit City of Refuge.
A membership-based hub, The Union provides members access to the city's best fitness activations and classes. The Union's state-of-the-art facility offers a luxurious experience, boasting 60 feet of open turf, space for group fitness classes, free weights, more than six treadmills, 10 cardio machines, a spin room, a boxing area, and a café. Two full locker rooms with towel service and showers will also be provided. The Fit Cupid area, designed as a meeting space for fitness professionals and clients, will be a hub for collaboration and continuing education.
Slated to open in mid-June, The Union promises to revitalize the space at The Telephone Factory Lofts, transforming it into a fitness oasis for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
