Status: Home Adds Three New Board Members and Unveils Board Officer Slate

Status: Home, Atlanta’s oldest and largest provider of supportive housing for homeless and low-income individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS, recently appointed three new members to its Board of Directors.
“The three new board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise in community advocacy, law, and leadership, further strengthening Status:Home’s ability to execute on our mission and address the pressing housing needs of those living with HIV/AIDS in Atlanta,” said Maryum Lewis, Status: Home President and CEO.
The new board members:

Joey Angloinga-Keeney: Joey Angloinga-Keeney has over 20 years of experience working on various LGBTQ+ community causes on the West Coast, and in Hawaii, and Alaska. New to Atlanta, he works as a Business Consultant for My Virtual CFO - Atl.

Marcus D. Benning: Marcus Benning practices in the real estate group of international full-service law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP. A native of Stone Mountain, GA, he is a graduate of Duke University’s Trinity College of Arts and Sciences and Duke University School of Law.

Lauren Waits: Lauren Waits is a public policy consultant and community advocate who has resided in Atlanta for the majority of her life. She has over 25 years’ experience in legislative, administrative and grassroots advocacy in Atlanta, working at a range of social justice and anti-poverty organizations.
In addition to the new board members, Status: Home is pleased to announce its Board officers for fiscal years 2024-25 beginning on June 30.
