Marbury Creative Group, a brand-building marketing agency that drives business growth through the fusion of strategy and creativity, announced today that its
Bank of Joyce video campaign for
Georgia Banking Company (GBC) has been named a silver winner under the “Online Commercials – Business-to-Consumer” category in the
2023 Telly Awards. Celebrating its 44th year, the awards program honors excellence in video and television across all screens.
Tasked with creating an attention-grabbing brand awareness campaign for GBC, Marbury Creative Group developed six commercial spots featuring an excitable, witty brand character named Joyce. Playing on GBC’s mission to be “The Bank of Choice,” the commercials showcase Joyce mishearing a message from the bank’s chief executive officer, Bartow Morgan – thinking he said, “The Bank of Joyce.” The engaging, creative campaign demonstrates the approachability and customer-centric nature of the bank as Joyce and Bartow interact with each other all over the community, from a local brewery to a grocery store. The full series of commercials can be found
here.
The click-through rate and video-view completion rates have performed well above benchmarks across all tactics within just the first months of the campaign. By leveraging advanced TV streaming, audio, display, search, social media and YouTube, the agency was able to expose people all around GBC’s branches to Joyce and her admiration for the bank. In addition, the bank has already seen a 2.5 percent conversion rate with users interested in opening accounts due to the campaign.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by the esteemed Telly Awards alongside other industry-leading companies and video campaigns,” said Shelly Hoffman, executive vice president and partner at Marbury Creative Group. “Receiving the title as one of the best online commercials in the business-to-consumer category is a testament to our team’s commitment to developing out-of-the-box marketing strategies and campaigns that help our clients stand out and tell their stories better.”
