Friday, July 14th, 2023
terra alma, a woman-owned boutique commercial real estate firm, is advising woman-owned San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company on expansion plans for a new Atlanta location. The well-loved, West Coast-inspired coffee house is scouting properties from Midtown to Reynoldstown to Summerhill and Buckhead. San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company has locations in Virginia Highland, Candler Park, and Georgia Tech. A second Georgia Tech location is also planned to open once construction on the building is complete.
"We've engaged Terra Alma to advise on the search for our new intown location," says owner Tanya Bond. "They're well-connected and deeply invested in helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses."
Locally owned by Tanya and Doug Bond, Tanya is an Atlanta native who brought San Francisco's coffee culture to Atlanta. The Bonds recently expanded to bottle popular cold brews, allowing customers to take their favorite brews to go. "We're looking to grow this side of the business," adds Tanya. "We're even on the hunt for a dedicated manufacturing location."
Aside from adding to its physical footprint and product line, San Francisco Coffee is refining customer engagement through enhanced training. Their new coffee lab hosts classes for patrons on coffee roasting, coffee cupping, perfecting the art of coffee making and barista training - from basic brews to lattes, cappuccinos, and spirited specialty drinks.
Founded in 1992, San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company has been brewing smiles for over 30 years under the expert direction of Doug Bond, the company's Roast Master. "We chose to build our dream and infuse a bit of the San Francisco charm when we launched in Atlanta," says Doug.
As they chart a course for future growth, the Bonds reflect on their journey thus far. " Love blossomed, businesses sprouted, ideas ignited, and it became the bustling, steamy social hub we had always envisioned," says Tanya.
The Bonds welcome all to join them in their expansion journey to enjoy fresh roasted coffee as they continue to build a place where delightful aromas, life-changing encounters, and the warm embrace of community awaits.
