Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) announces the launch of the Atlanta BeltLine Indie Market, a series of vibrant artist markets taking place on second Saturdays at the Eastside and Westside BeltLine MarketPlace locations. These markets aim to support small businesses, promote local artists and foster community engagement among Atlanta's diverse neighborhoods. 

From August through October 2023, the Atlanta BeltLine Indie Market will occur on the second Saturday of each month. The next market is Aug. 12^th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The final market of the year will take place on Saturday, Nov. 25th, coinciding with Small Business Saturday.

The Atlanta BeltLine Indie Market will be held at the two MarketPlace locations: Under the John Lewis Freedom Parkway Bridge on the Eastside Trail and at the intersection of Allene Avenue and the BeltLine near Adair Park on the Westside Trail. In addition to the artists, people can explore the small, local, Black-owned businesses that are taking part in the business incubator at the BeltLine MarketPlace. These businesses offer vegan snacks, sweet treats, coffee, iconic Atlanta merchandise and plants.

During the indie market second Saturdays, people can expect to discover a half dozen or so talented local artists and musicians at each location, offering creative, handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind art.

Also on August 12, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine is presenting ATL Park Jam, a free, family-friendly event celebrating Atlanta’s deep, rich and unique influence on hip hop at its 50^th anniversary.
