Children’s Museum of Atlanta celebrates Latinx Heritage Month and the return of Dragon Con to Atlanta with TinyCON® and a rich array of events. During TinyCON®, children are welcome to don their cherished costumes and engage in a variety of activities, including crafting ogre slime, honing Jedi skills and constructing obstacle courses. For aficionados of comics, an assortment of Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario and Pokémon-themed activities await. Families will also have the chance to pay tribute to the Latinx community with enlightening educational experiences and captivating cultural presentations. While young ones immerse themselves in constructing roller coasters and crafting comics, they simultaneously delve into the lives of noteworthy Latinx figures. The event culminates with special performances by Maculelê-Capoeira and Alma Mexicana, adding an extra layer of excitement to the occasion. |
