Clayton State Promotes Next Chapter in First-ever State of the University Address

Clayton State University recently held its first-ever State of the University address this past Monday.
The event was spearheaded by our university’s new president, Dr. Georj L. Lewis, who took over the role at the beginning of this past year but will be starting his first full academic year in Morrow next week.
As we stand on the cusp of a brand-new academic year, we believe it is imperative to spread his encouraging message before the fall semester takes off running next week.
As Lewis said Monday, Clayton State University is ready to break out and become a cornerstone of education and impact in south metro Atlanta. The institution is primed and prepared to be a “well-kept secret” of a school no longer is also ready further prioritize the health and well-being of everyone who calls themselves a Laker.
Whether a first-year student, or a 35-year tenured professor, the university is ready to help everyone in our community feel like a desired member of our family here in Laker Nation as we begin the next exciting chapter in our university’s growing history.
