Colliers’ KB Yabuku Appointed Vice President of Atlanta’s Office Tenant Representation team​

Colliers, a global leader in commercial real estate services, is pleased to announce the transition of KB Yabuku to Atlanta’s Office Tenant Representation team. KB brings an extensive background in the industry, having built an impressive career marked by strategic leadership, exceptional client relations and a deep understanding of the Southeast market. In his new assignment, KB will focus on office tenant representation across the Southeast region. With a career spanning several esteemed firms in the sector, KB’s expertise will further elevate Colliers’ offerings, benefiting both clients and the firm. 

 KB is transitioning to Colliers’ brokerage platform following a previous role as a senior-level consultant and sales executive with the Occupier Services Group. His role involved spearheading business growth by targeting major opportunities with clients possessing large occupied real estate footprints, specifically in retail, office, and industrial sectors across the United States.   

Prior to his tenure with Colliers, KB excelled as Vice President at Ackerman & Co., where he worked as an investment sales broker, contributing to the acquisition and disposition of commercial investment properties. KB’s prowess in facilitating strategic and opportunistic investments earned him a reputation as one of Metro Atlanta’s leading experts in this domain.  

In a previous position as Associate Director for Stan Johnson Company, KB specialized in the sale of net-lease properties throughout the United States serving clients including programmatic developers, institutional owners and high net-worth investors.  Additionally, KB’s roles at BB&T (now Truist) and Jones Lang LaSalle/Staubach Company have solidified his standing as a sought-after commercial real estate professional.

KB earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business after completing his bachelor’s in real estate at Georgia State University. KB has served on the Terry Alumni Board at the University of Georgia, is a graduate of Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership Program and is currently involved with various professional institutions including the African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP), Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors (ACBR), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and CoreNet Global. KB also dedicates his spare time to mentorship and community engagement, volunteering through organizations including Junior Achievement, Agape Youth & Family Center, and Covenant House.  

 KB will undoubtedly carry this momentum and expertise into his new assignment. His commitment to excellence, combined with his dynamic expertise, make him a powerful addition to the Colliers Atlanta team.
