Delbar – the Middle Eastern restaurant and bar offering classic Persian cuisine with Israeli, Turkish and Lebanese touches – announces the launch of lunch at their recently opened Alpharetta location. Starting Sunday, August 20, weekend lunch will be available on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3:45pm. Beginning Wednesday, September 6, lunch will also be served Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm.

For lunch, Delbar’s culinary team has curated a modified version of their beloved dinner menu, featuring favorite dishes plus delightful new creations that will tantalize the taste buds. The weekday lunch menu will feature new sandwiches like Lamb & Labneh Sandwich with lamb shoulder, dill labneh, zereshk & kale salad and Falafel Sandwich with hummus, pickled relish, pickled onion, parsley, spicy tahini & kale salad, all served on homemade turmeric barbari. 

The weekend lunch menu will echo the existing menu of simple and comforting Persian and Middle Eastern style dishes with the addition of favorite savory brunch items, kabobs and fresh salads. Highlights include the Endive Citrus Salad with fresh green & red endive, orange & grapefruit supremes, sumac red onions, pepper, candied walnuts & preserve lemon, Salmon Kookoo with salmon, potato, cilantro, scallion, cumin, avocado, tahini, chili oil & fried leek and Shroom Peynirli Pide with oyster mushrooms, fried onion & kasseri cheese. 

New lunch cocktails, crafted by Beverage Director Francis Coligado, include God of Rainbows with Dulce Vida Tequila, mezcal, pomegranate, lime & ginger beer, and Saffron Martini with gin, suze, Cocchi Americano, saffron & celery.

Whether guests are seeking a quick bite or a leisurely lunch, Delbar has something for everyone. Plus, the restaurant will continue to serve a consolidated menu between 3-5pm on weekdays for those interested in a later meal.
